Celebrate the 25th Anniversary of The Mask by streaming it on HBO NOW

Celebrate the 25th anniversary of the iconic Jim Carrey film, The Mask! The movie is now available for you to stream with your HBO membership.
The Mask is a classic film from the 1990s and it’s hard to believe it has already been 25 years since it came out but yesterday was the official anniversary of this iconic movie! Variety called it the Deadpool of the ’90s.
If you haven’t seen the movie before, now is your chance to watch it! In honor of this milestone anniversary, HBO is streaming the movie through HBO NOW, HBO Go, and anywhere else you have a subscription to HBO (Amazon, Hulu, etc.).

The movie follows a bank clerk named Stanley Ipkiss (Jim Carrey) who finds a magical mask with the spirit of the infamous trickster god, Loki, embedded inside. When he puts on the mask his entire life is turned upside down as he begins to ooze confidence.
Ipkiss feels invincible while wearing the mask. He even manages to charm a nightclub singer named Tina Carlyle (Cameron Diaz). But his cockiness gets him trouble with a crime lord after he impulsively robs a bank.
The Mask film is actually based on a comic book series from Dark Horse Comics. If you really love the movie you can always explore some of the other elements of the franchise. Beyond the Jim Carrey movie, there is also a sequel film and an animated series, in addition to the comic books of course.
The film also stars Peter Riegert, Peter Greene, Amy Yasbeck, and Richard Jeni.
