Where can you stream Brightburn?
Brightburn turned the superhero world upside down when it landed in theaters. Here’s where you can stream it at home today.
Superhero movies have reigned supreme in recent years. With no shortage of clean-cut champions on-screen, Brightburn’s malevolent protagonist stands out. If you missed seeing the dark origin story in theaters or saw it and want an encore, here’s how to watch it at home.
Brightburn is available today in HD, 4K Ultra HD, and SD on FandangoNOW. On August 6, fans can also purchase the movie on Google Play, Amazon Prime Video, and Movies Anywhere. If you prefer to snag the Blu-ray or DVD instead, you’ll have to wait a little longer.
If you have a STARZ subscription, you’re in luck. With an agreement between STARZ and Sony Pictures in place, the film will likely be available on the STARZ app in the near future.

Compared to typical superhero-themed films, Brightburn performed modestly. It earned just over $32 million on a $6 million budget. However, since it will be widely available on streaming platforms, apps, and subscription services, the movie has the potential to build more of a following.
It received mostly lukewarm reviews from critics, but many fans praised the film for the fresh take on horror and sci-fi.
The plot? An alien child crashes on earth, is adopted by loving parents, and discovers he has super powers. This might sound like a familiar story, but it’s not what you think. Things get very dark, very quickly.
Through the gore and violence, Elizabeth Banks shines alongside costars David Denman and Matt Jones. If you’re intrigued by the notion of a blood-drenched origin story, Brightburn might just be your next obsession.
