4. Troy is alive.

We never did see Troy’s body so I kind of assumed he was going to come back in the future somehow. Turns out, he’s still living in the little cottage buried in the hedge maze at the Farthy estate. Heaven and Logan go to the estate to get married and Tony convinces them to remain there and take up a new job.

Heaven explores the grounds and happens upon Troy. He tells her he faked his death so she could have a chance at a normal life but it doesn’t work. She and Troy sleep together AGAIN. He then promises to leave and never come back, despite what Heaven wants. He doesn’t want her to be held back by loving her uncle. Ick.

3. Fanny sleeps with Logan.

Fanny is upfront about her intentions to seduce Logan. She’s angry at Heaven for forgetting about her and for not getting baby Darcie back from the priest. She eventually succeeds at coercing Logan into her bed with her since Heaven is often so preoccupied. But seeing as Heaven betrayed Logan too by sleeping with Troy, she can’t be all that mad at him.

The two reconcile but Fanny winds up pregnant with Logan’s baby! Oh, the tangled webs these Casteels weave because, surprise surprise, Heaven is ALSO pregnant, with TROY’S baby. Not that she plans on telling Logan that.
