In Supernatural Season 5, we were introduced to a young boy, Jesse. His storyline desperately needs wrapping up in Supernatural Season 15.

It’s been 10 years, but fans are still curious about the whereabouts of one character. With Supernatural Season 15 as the last, it’s time to wrap up the storyline of the half-demon, half-human boy, Jesse.

Of course, he won’t be a boy now. He was about 7-10 in the fifth season, so will be in his late teens now at the very least. So, really, he’s a man. And we have no idea what he’s been up to all this time.

He certainly hasn’t caused a direct problem for the Winchesters, but does that mean he’s good? Could he be up to something, playing a long game? That would certainly be viable for the final season.

Whatever the reason he’s been away though, getting some closure on this storyline is important. We need to know if what Sam and Dean said to him helped him remain on the side of good. It’s important to see that he’s still alive out there.

Had the show ended with the fifth season, I could have accepted that Jesse’s storyline would never have been wrapped. After all, the original ending was going to be both Winchester brothers sacrificing themselves to save the world. It didn’t matter what happened on Earth after that, really. But now that we’ve had 10 more seasons (including this final season), some of the older storylines could be brought back up.

Jesse could even be a powerful ally for the Winchesters to have. Chuck is the Big Bad of the season. With no free will, that means Jesse’s life was always written. It always had to be and he’s not making his own choices. That could be something difficult for him to accept, especially if he’s had a rough time.
