If you love Lucifer, binge-watch these 5 shows!
If you are missing Lucifer, satiate your cravings with this list of five saucy crime dramas!
On Lucifer, the lead character, Lucifer Morningstar, often asks people what they truly desire. My answer? “More Lucifer, please!”
Clearly, I’m not alone in that feeling. After Lucifer came to Netflix, the series about a police detective and the devil toppled Game of Thrones to become the most-binged show.
Lucifer is wildly addicting, and the season four finale left fans jonesing for more. Alas, we will all have to wait to see ‘Luci’ and the gang back in action.
Devoted viewers are hoping for new episodes by early to mid-2020. But with the final season still in production, the release date is up in the air.
Fans may have to wait quite a while to see how it all ends. For Lucifer lovers, the long wait for Season 5 may feel like your own personal purgatory.
Until The King of Hell returns, binge these five shows to help fill the void!
iZombie

Like Lucifer, iZombie follows a police detective who unwittingly teams up with an immortal to solve murders. In the show, Detective Clive Babineaux plays it straight, while zombie medical examiner Olivia ‘Liv’ Moore is the wild card. Every episode of iZombie dishes out a savory combo of horror and comedy.
Lucifer aficionados will appreciate this crime procedural for its supernatural elements and comedic flair.
All five seasons of iZombie are streaming now on Netflix.
Medium
Medium depicts the journey of a psychic living in Phoenix, Arizona. In the show, Allison DuBois works as a consultant for the district attorney’s office. Her prophetic dreams allow her to help the D.A. with criminal investigations.
The show is based on an actual medium of the same name who has helped solve crimes over the years. Medium will appeal to Lucifer fans who savor the juxtaposition of faith and skepticism on the backdrop of criminal investigations.
All seven seasons of Medium are streaming now on Amazon Prime Video and Hulu.
Sleepy Hollow
In Sleepy Hollow, Ichabod Crane of the Headless Horseman legend awakens in 2013. He encounters Lieutenant Abigail ‘Abbie’ Mills and they soon develop an odd partnership.
It doesn’t take long for Abbie to get up to speed on all the mystic forces plaguing the town of Sleepy Hollow. Ichabod and the Lieutenant join forces to vanquish evil. Fans of Lucifer will enjoy the comedy that arises from Ichabod’s fish-out-of-water persona and his mismatched partnership with Abbie.
All four seasons of Sleepy Hollow are streaming now on Hulu and are available for rent or purchase on Amazon Prime Video.
Bones
Inspired by the life of a real-life forensic anthropologist, Bones is a procedural dramedy about a partnership between a forensic anthropologist, Dr. Temperance ‘Bones’ Brennan, and FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth. Together, they solve murder mysteries by examining human remains and uncovering other hidden clues. The dynamics of their relationship often spur witty debates and flirty banter.
Lucifer fans who relish the will-they-or-won’t-they aspect of Lucifer and Chloe’s relationship will dig the chemistry between Bones’ crime-solving duo.
All 12 seasons of Bones are streaming now on Amazon Prime Video and Hulu.
Angel
Angel is the Buffy The Vampire Slayer spinoff about a vampire with a soul. When Buffy’s ex, Angel, moves to Los Angeles, he begins a mission to help those who cannot help themselves.
In the process, he assembles a squad of likeminded antiheroes and forms a private investigation firm. The show uses a monster-of-the-week format, but also includes seasonal story arcs to keep fans hooked. For Lucifer fanatics who love a mystery-solving team lead by an unholy heartthrob, Angel delivers.
All five seasons of Angel are streaming now on Hulu and available for rent or purchase on Amazon Prime Video.
