Men in Black: International, starring Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson, is now available on Blu-ray and DVD! Let’s rank the bonus features.
Hemsworth and Thompson teamed up to reboot the beloved alien franchise, Men in Black. Did you see the movie in theaters? Let’s just say it wasn’t very well received by critics, but, for the most part, audiences enjoyed it. I must admit, MIB: International does play it a bit too safe to be much fun.
What we love about the Men in Black franchise, is how risky it is. The alien creatures are gross, the gags are silly, the chemistry between the two lead characters is out of this world, and the story is heartfelt, but always mysterious. International, on the other hand, doesn’t feature many interesting aliens or adventurous plots. If the movie wants to come back as a success, it needs to kick things up a notch or two.
One thing’s for sure, we do love Hemsworth and Thompson teaming up! I hope the duo returns for a second, more exciting, round. Will you be purchasing the movie today? If you enjoyed the movie in theaters, you’ll love rewatching the story again, on top of all the bonus content it has to offer.
