Supernatural: Will Amara help or hinder God in Season 15?

We know Amara is coming back for Supernatural Season 15. Will she help God destroy the world or will she side with the Winchesters?

Emily Swallow is returning to Supernatural for the final season. Now the question is which side she will be on. Will he help God destroy the world in Season 15, or is she going to be on the side of the Winchesters?

It’s not easy to say, right? She did have a bond with Dean since he was the one that had the last Mark of Cain and removed it, releasing her from her prison. However, throughout Supernatural Season 11, she wanted to destroy the world. Jealous of everything her brother had created, she decided she wanted to get rid of the universe.

In the end, Dean helped her make up with Chuck. The two found a way back to each other, becoming brother and sister again. And Amara was thankful for that.

Will her love for her brother make her side with him? Now that he wants to destroy the world, will she decide to work with him and allow the story to end? If this was the Season 11 Amara, then I could see it happen.

However, we’ve got to remember that God has written all this. That means God wrote everything that happened in Season 11, knowing that in the end, Amara would decide to reconnect with God and not destroy the world. He’d written that she would be locked away and then eventually released. Just how annoyed is she going to be to find out that even part of her life has been destined by her brother?

Will she decide that Chuck’s tantrum over Dean and Sam not doing as he wished is over the top? After seeing the world for its beauty, will she decide that she wants to help it?

I would like to say that Amara will want to save the world. While there’s darkness, she’s also seen light. While she may be “The Darkness,” God seems to have changed sides—although I’m not entirely convinced that this is a complete change in his character—so would that mean Amara has to, too?

The caption to the image Swallow shared on Instagram does hint that Amara is going to side with the Winchesters. She wants to set her brother straight, but is that just a fake tease and Amara will turn the tables on us?

The answer is going to depend on whatever Amara and God have been up to since they made up. They were traveling together, so what has she seen in the world and in God that would affect her decision? That’s something for the writers to answer in Supernatural Season 15.
