Grey’s Anatomy has the almost-Charmed reunion that we’ve always wanted. Two of the original stars will play sisters in an October episode.
There’s almost the Charmed reunion we’ve been looking for coming to TV, but not on the network you would expect. Two of the original stars will be in an episode of Grey’s Anatomy in October.
Holly Marie Combs and Alyssa Milano will play two sisters in the upcoming episode, which is slated to air on Oct. 10, 2019, according to TVLine. They find themselves at Grey Sloan Memorial when a third sister falls into a construction site and is declared brain dead. The two sisters need to decide what to do next.

And you just know there are going to be some familiar Charmed feelings in the episode. After all, Combs and Milano played Piper and Phoebe, the two sisters who survived Shax’s attack that claimed the life of older sister Prue, played by Shannen Doherty.
What’s going to be interesting is seeing if the two sisters in Grey’s Anatomy are on speaking terms. Based on the title “Reunited,” it sounds like the two could be estranged sisters and the accident of the third is bringing them back together. Will they find their ways back to each other? And is a fourth sister going to turn up?
Getting a real Charmed reunion has proved to be extremely difficult—and if we’re honest with ourselves, it’s got very little to do with the reboot series currently on The CW. The cast members don’t get along any more.
When Doherty announced her fight against cancer, Combs turned her back on the friendship. While it sounds like whatever split Milano and Doherty up in the past is over, now Milano and Rose McGowan don’t seem to get along. Dynamics have shifted as the four women have seen their careers grow and change. Getting all four on the same page (because we need all four even if Prue and Paige never met) would be almost impossible.
Grey’s Anatomy is going to be the closest we get to a Charmed reunion for now. And we’ll take it!
