4. Grey’s Anatomy

When it returns: The ABC medical drama returns on Thursday, Sept. 26 at 8/7c.

Season it’s on: A TGIT staple, this medical drama is entering its 16th season when it premieres next week.

Why watch it: Want to see what life is like for Meredith, Alex, and Richard now that they’ve been fired? How about what life is going to be like for Teddy and Owen as new parents? And we can’t forget what’s happened to Jackson! Grey’s Anatomy Season 15 left us with so many questions and you’ll need to watch the premiere next week for all the answers.

For those who have been a little behind, it won’t take too long to figure out what’s going on with the various characters. After all, for many people, it’s the patient storylines that draw you in. Hopefully, that picks up more in the upcoming season.

3. Supernatural

When it returns: The longest-running CW series returns on Thursday, Oct. 10 at 8/7c.

Season it’s on: Supernatural is entering its 15th and final season.

Why watch it: One of the biggest reasons to check out this season is that it’s the final one. For 20 episodes, we’ll get to see the Winchesters’ storyline wrap up in full. And there are going to be plenty of throwbacks to the earlier seasons.

The 15th season will see God become the Big Bad. He’s brought “the end” to the story, and anything is possible, including the return of multiple characters that we’ve believed dead and gone for years. Whether you’ve been a loyal viewer throughout the years or you just want to know how it ends, you’ll need to check out this CW series.
