Brad Pitt’s Ad Astra is now playing in theaters everywhere, but where can you stream it when it leaves the big screen?
Ad Astra was one of the most anticipated movies of the year, so imagine the disappointment when it turned out fans didn’t enjoy the movie. At all. Over at Rotten Tomatoes, critics can’t stop praising the film. So far, Ad Astra has a score of 83% fresh. Audiences, however, beg to differ.
Despite its fresh rating from critics, the score from audiences is a low 42% rating. I have to say, I’m disappointed. Admittedly, though, I missed the screening for the movie. And after seeing the score from viewers (you have to trust the audience more than critics), I can’t say I feel like watching it soon at all. In fact, I’ll be waiting for the movie to stream online instead!
If this sounds like you, and you would also like to wait until the movie is on a streaming service, here’s what we know about when Ad Astra will stream and where.
Ad Astra is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, and, I don’t have to tell you that, all movies from the company will soon be streaming on their own service, Disney+. It’s also possible that the movie will stream through the Hulu and Disney+ bundle, instead. Either way, don’t expect to stream it on Netflix or Amazon Prime Video.
As for when this will be, movies typically go to a streaming host 3-5 months after their premiere date. This means, Ad Astra can stream as early as late Feb. or early March 2020. Will you be streaming the movie when it arrives to Disney+? Let us know in the comments!
