Prodigal Son returns this Monday over on FOX and if you want a good idea of what is to come, get a good look at the sneak peek that has been released.
One of FOX’s newest TV series got off to a fantastic start on Monday. Starring Tom Payne, the premiere episode of Prodigal Son introduced us to the dark, yet quirky world of Malcolm Bright as he profiles killers for the NYPD while trying to get a handle on the trauma caused by his serial killer father, nicknamed ‘The Surgeon.’
Michael Sheen portrays Martin/’The Surgeon,’ and the scenes between Sheen and Payne were one of the major highlights during the pilot and if you are hoping to see more of them come the next episodes, you will.

A sneak peek shared by TV Line gives us an idea of what is coming next Monday in Episode 2, “Annihilator.” There is a lot to take away from the one-and-a-half-minute sneak peek, the number one take away being Malcolm needs to change his number, or at the very least not answer phone calls from numbers he doesn’t recognize.
Prepare for some gruesome scenes as our murderer appears to enjoy sowing the victims’ mouths shut. Other than the sowing of the mouth, there is also something extremely wrong with the dead body, other than being dead, but you can easily hear some strange noise coming out of the victim.

Also, Martin is not letting down on the hope of getting more involved with his son’s life, but will Malcolm give in and let ‘The Surgeon’ aide him with his own murderous experience?
