Audiences are rushing to theaters to watch Joker, but if you are waiting for the movie to go to a streaming service, here’s where and when you can expect that.
Can’t wait to watch Joker, but would rather view it from the comfort of your own home? Or do you prefer waiting to watch new movies on streaming? Whatever the case may be, we’ve done early research to learn when and where Joker will be streaming once it leaves the big screen.
Joaquin Phoenix blows moviegoers away with his performance as Arthur Fleck aka Joker. In the movie, we follow Arthur, a man suffering from multiple mental illnesses and whose situation isn’t getting any better. Gotham is crumbling and the rich are sitting by with only greed in mind. Audiences witness Arthur’s raw and disturbing journey go from unstable to complete insanity.
So, where will Joker be streaming? The movie is distributed by Warner Bros., and movies under this company are truly all over the place.

Some can be found on Amazon Prime Video and Netflix, but the majority land on HBO. Joker, however, will more than likely go to HBO, especially now that there’s a WarnerMedia’s HBO Max service coming soon.
Once HBO Max is up and running, I’m betting Joker will storm its way there. If you don’t want to miss this movie there, be sure to stay tuned for updates so you can subscribe to it ASAP! It’s true, there are already so many streaming services available, but there’s no denying HBO Max is going to be one of the greats, HBO has always delivered when it comes to quality, and their streaming network will be amazing.
