The final season of Mr. Robot has premiered and it did not come to waste any time! Not even 10 minutes into the episode and death toll kicks off! Who dies in Episode 1, 401 Unauthorized?

Wow! Simply put, Mr. Robot‘s Season 4 premiere comes at viewers full force, wasting absolutely no time killing a major player. Did you watch the episode live on the USA Network? I certainly hope you did, because spoilers flooded social media immediately. A show like Mr. Robot is best enjoyed live along with all other fans. Just in case you didn’t watch the episode, though, please note there are huge, significant spoilers ahead. Watch the episode first before reading on…

We dearly missed the intense drama and action Mr. Robot delivered weekly, but we continue missing Elliot (Rami Malek) since he has given us the silent treatment. As you already know, Elliot no longer talks to the viewers. Mr. Robot points this out, Elliot doesn’t speak to him, either. At least, not since (spoiler) died. Which leads us to the beginning of our Season 4 death toll!

Once again, spoilers ahead if you missed the Season 4 premiere of Mr. Robot. Who dies in Episode 1, “401 Unauthorized”?

More from Drama

Season 4 of Mr. Robot begins with Angela (Portia Doubleday) sobbing with her dad Phillip (Michael Cristofer). Secretly, Phillip hopes Angela gives up and says she will move on. But, she doesn’t. So, in no time at all, two men appear and shoot her in the head. Twice. Overkill, man. Way to start the season with heartache.

I mean, we pretty much knew she may not make it out of the final season alive. But this soon? Minutes in? I don’t think anyone saw this coming.

Darlene (Carly Chaikin) still believes Angela is alive, you can’t blame her, they were like sisters. She never got to see the body, so she doesn’t want to give up on the idea that Angela escaped. But the truth hurts, Angela is very dead. Elliot received a picture of Angela “with her brains out” as proof. To protect Darlene, Elliot has not shown her the photo.

Second to go is Freddy Lomax (Jake Busey). Knowing Elliot can’t help protect him and unable to handle the pressure, he commits suicide. Fortunately, he won’t be missed! And that concludes the death toll for first episode!
