Season 2 of Charmed is finally here on The CW! Find out what new threats the Charmed Ones will face by watching the premiere live tonight.

It’s been a minute since Mel, Macy, and Maggie graced our screens but they’re finally back tonight in the Charmed Season 2 premiere. The episode, titled “Safe Space,” will see the trio facing off against new threats as they get acclimated to a magical world without Elders.

Season 2 of Charmed is going to be marginally different than the first season. If you haven’t heard, there was a major shake-up behind-the-scenes with new showrunners Liz Kruger and Craig Shapiro taking over the show.

The new season will focus less on family dynamics and more on the supernatural creatures. The locations will also be further fleshed out as the sisters will be taken to places around the world in their adventures.

When we left off in Season 1, the Charmed Ones had destroyed the Source and hidden it in different corners of the world. But the wreckage left behind by Alistair has left a chasm where authority used to be.

With the Elders no longer in the picture, it’ll be up to the Charmed Ones to become a voice of reason in the magical community. Will they going to be up to the task? Based on the promotional trailer for the upcoming season, it won’t take long for another villain to storm the scene.

This season will also introduce some new characters such as a hot boxing instructor and a sexually fluid witch. Plus, Alistair may be gone but his spawn isn’t. He has a long-lost daughter who will come to town seeking revenge.
