El Camino stars Aaron Paul as the iconic Jesse Pinkman, the drug-dealing sidekick to Walter White in Breaking Bad. In the series finale, with the help of Walt, Jesse was freed from Uncle Jack and his gang’s hideout and escaped in Todd’s El Camino. The film is set to pick up with Jesse on the run from the authorities.

In the film’s teasers and trailers, Jesse is set to battle with the police as he’s a suspect for his dealings in the drug world. Jesse turns to Skinny Pete (Charles Baker) and Badger (Matt Jones) for help as he attempts to avoid law enforcement. The trailer also depicts Jesse gearing up for battle as he’s seen with a gun in multiple scenes.

Much of the plot has been kept a secret. Fans have been questioning if memorable characters from Breaking Bad would return in the film. The biggest question involves Walter White and if he’s dead or alive. After years of theories, Vince Gilligan, the creator of Breaking Bad and director of El Camino, finally ended the debate of all debates. In an appearance on “The Rich Eisen Show,” Gilligan confirmed that Walter White is dead, putting all of the “Walter is alive” theories to rest.
