Now that Big Brother until next year, it’s time to take a look back at the season that was. Now, we are reflecting on the cast of Big Brother 21’s best game moves. The last person we will look at is Jackson Michie.

Jackson Michie was the winner of Big Brother 21. Michie was known for his strategic and physical dominance, showmance with Holly Allen, and controversial behavior in the house.

Michie started Big Brother 21 strong. He had a bromance with Jack Matthews and was part of the Gr8ful alliance. He won the vote for Camp Director on Day 1. As a result, Michie had to banish 4 people. 3 of the 4 would return to the game but one would be out. Michie chose to banish David Alexander, Kemi Fakunle, Jessica Milagros, and Cliff Hogg III. This sparked accusations from fans that Michie discriminated based on race and age.

David was the one eliminated when he lost the ensuing Competition. Winning Camp Director also earned Michie immunity for the first week. After winning Camp Director, Michie and Jack took the reigns of the Gr8ful alliance.

Additionally, it looked like a budding showmance was brewing between Michie and Kathryn “Kat” Dunn. However, Kat’s erratic behavior early on spooked Michie and caused him to dump her. Instead, Michie and Holly Allen became a showmance.

In week 2, Michie cast a rogue vote with the intention of pinning it on his ally Nick Maccarone. However, Michie’s plan folded when Nick won the next HOH Competition and Michie had to pick a new target. He instead chose to pin the vote on Nicole Anthony.

In week 3, Michie helped form the Six Shooters alliance. The Six Shooters alliance wanted to break off from their allies Nick and Isabella “Bella” Wang. The Six Shooters didn’t like Nick and Bella’s behavior during a week 3 bullying incident where the target of the bullying was Nicole. Cliff and Nicole were the final nominees that week after Kat used the Power of Veto to save Jessica. The Six Shooters blindsided Nick and Bella at the live eviction by evicting Cliff in a 6-4 vote. However, the blindside was rendered useless when Cliff returned to the house in the Camp Comeback Competition.

In week 4, Cliff made Michie one of the week’s have nots. However, Michie was seen on the Big Brother live feeds stuffing food into his pockets and eating it in the shower. This was clearly in violation of the have not rules. However, Michie received no punishment normally given to the houseguest for such an infraction.

Later in the week, Cliff nominated Jack and Michie for eviction. However, Michie won the Power of Veto to save himself. Christie nearly turned Michie’s Golden Power of Veto into a Diamond Power of Veto by activating her Panic Power. However, Cliff and Christie struck a deal to keep that from happening. As a result, Bella was nominated in Michie’s place and evicted in a 8-2 vote.

In week 5, disaster struck for Michie when he inadvertently let it slip that Kat and Holly knew each other. It caused his bromance Jack to distrust and betray him. Michie and Holly were now the biggest targets in the house.

In week 6, Michie found himself nominated alongside Jack again. This time by Jessica. Jessica also won the Power of Veto that week and chose not to use it. Michie stayed in a 6-2 vote.

In week 7, Michie was one of 3 players selected to take part in the America’s Field Trip Competition along with Analyse Talavera and Christie. First place received immunity, second place received a punishment, third place was nominated as a special 3rd nominee. Michie won the competition keeping him safe for the week.

In week 8, Michie won his first HOH Competition of the season. He nominated Analyse alongside Christie, with the intention of evicting Christie. During this time, Michie and Holly also cemented a final 4 deal with Cliff and Nicole. A fight on Taco Tuesday began to turn the tide of the vote as people began to realize how untrustworthy Nick was. Michie and Holly made a deal with Christie that she would let them use her as a pawn in the future and she would keep them safe if she won HOH. Thanks to this deal, Analyse was evicted 5-1.

In week 9, Michie won his 2nd Power of Veto of the season and kept nominations the same. Nick was evicted that week 5-0.

In week 10, Michie won his 2nd consecutive HOH Competition. He nominated Christie and Jessica, with the intention of evicting Jessica. He felt Jessica was the bigger threat because she would only nominate women and specifically wanted Michie gone. After Tommy Bracco won the Power of Veto that week, Michie needed a replacement nominee. Cliff volunteered to be the replacement and he was nominated for eviction. Jessica was evicted 4-0.

In week 11, Michie pulled off his 3rd consecutive HOH win. He nominated Cliff and Tommy with the intention of evicting Tommy. However, Nicole won the POV that week and used it to save Cliff. This forced his showmance Holly to be the replacement nominee.

With Michie ineligible to play the final 4 HOH Competition and Holly nominated, Cliff and Nicole considered getting rid of Holly. Tommy offered them a deal where he would throw the final 4 HOH and come after Michie.

Unfortunately for them, Michie overheard this deal and used it to lie about Tommy. Michie used a house meeting that Nicole called to further paint Tommy in a negative light. Cliff and Nicole didn’t fully believe Michie’s story. In the end, Holly stayed after she made a deal with Cliff and Nicole to throw the final 4 HOH and POV.

At the final 4, Michie convinced Holly to throw the HOH and she did. Nicole won HOH and nominated Michie and Holly for eviction. Before the Power of Veto Competition, there was a special Luxury Competition with a $10,000 prize up for grabs. Michie won the competition. Michie also pulled off the win in the final 4 POV Competition. This gave Michie the sole vote to evict that week. He chose to evict Cliff.

At the final 3, Michie won parts 1 and 3 of the final HOH Competition, marking his 4th consecutive HOH win. He chose to take his showmance Holly to the final 2, evicting Nicole. Michie won the season on finale night in a 6-3 vote. Michie garnered Jack, Analyse, Nick, Christie, Tommy, and Cliff’s votes. Before the votes were revealed, he was confronted with some of the controversies he had caused by host Julie Chen-Moonves.

Michie’s best moves of Big Brother 21

Michie had 2 good strategic moves during his time on Big Brother 21. The first one was evicting Cliff at the final 4. Cliff was the only one who stood a realistic chance at beating Michie in a final 2 scenario.

The other one was his lie about Tommy in the final 5. That was very smart using the information he overheard and using it in his lies. While Cliff and Nicole didn’t fully believe him, it did create enough doubt to allow Holly to make a deal that kept her safe.
