There were so many big moments from Supernatural’s final season premiere. Here’s a look at four worth remembering.

Supernatural’s 15th and final season premiere came with all the feels that we expected with suspense, horror and some brotherly love. Here are four important moments from Supernatural‘s Season 15 premiere. Keep in mind, if you haven’t watched the episode, there spoilers ahead.

Jack’s possession: Chuck killed Jack last season when Dean wouldn’t do it. We had no clue how he would be back, but Alex Calvert, the actor who plays Jack, was still in the show. When Chuck opened the doors to Hell, all the souls came flying out, including a demon who possessed Jack’s lifeless, burned out body as it was on the ground. Even though the meat suit was Jack, Calvert did such a great job as this new character that it felt like a whole new person was on the show.

This demon — who Dean fittingly called Crowley Jr. — has all the answers on how to help Dean, Sam, and Castiel. It managed to blast the ghosts back from the cemetery that allowed the brothers to escape. All he needed was a little angel’s blood, which the brothers were more than happy to have Castiel donate.

Cas doesn’t trust the demon. I’m not saying the brothers trust the demon, but they are quick to work with him than they probably should be. The demon also seems to know more than it’s letting on.

More from Supernatural

When the demon and Dean were alone, it let Dean know it loved the way he tortured souls in Hell. That’s an interesting callback to Season 4 of Supernatural when Dean died and was in Hell. But it was also revealed that every door opening including the cage. This is how Adam comes back. The demon isn’t gone yet. We’ll see how long it sticks around and then what happens to Jack.

Old baddies are back: All the evil souls in Hell have seemingly escaped or will escape, including the ones Dean and Sam have put there themselves. We saw the Woman in White and the ghost of serial clown killer John Wayne Gacy, as well as a handful of other evil spirits that brothers have put away over the years.

It’s tough to see them because as Dean so eloquently put it, ‘What was the point of it all if they all just came back?’ Luckily, the brothers are there to talk each other off the ledge and Sam reminded Dean of all the lives they saved.

Dean just needed a little shake up and he’s ready to get back on the hunting trailer. Just as Dean says to his brother, “You and me verse every soul in Hell. I like those odds.” Those are the Winchesters we know.

Sam’s bullet hole

When Sam shot God, he received a mirror wound in his shoulder. While the Winchesters have been hurt before, this one seems a little different. It didn’t really bleed, but there is definitely a wound there. When Castiel tried to heal the blackened wound, there were flashes instead of Sam possessed by Lucifer, and Castiel couldn’t do anything to it. He said it contained an energy he had never felt before.

This is going to be something to keep an eye on as it’s likely to play a bigger role in the coming episodes.

Icy exchange: Dean is still angry with Castiel. After Jack killed Mary, Dean put that blame on Castiel and isn’t even close to being over it.

It doesn’t mean he still doesn’t care for Castiel. After all the craziness in ‘Back and to the Future,’ Dean asked Castiel if he was OK and Cas answered in the affirmative. When he tried to speak more, Dean simply said “good” and walked away. However, Dean isn’t ready to make amends just yet. It’s going to be cold between them for a while.
