Now that Big Brother until next year, it’s time to take a look back at the season that was. Earlier, we took a look at the cast’s best moves. Now we are reflecting on the cast of Big Brother 21’s worst moves. The next person we will look at is Kathryn “Kat” Dunn.

Kathryn “Kat” Dunn was the second member of the jury in Big Brother 21. Kat was known for her entertaining personality and strong game play.

Kat started off Big Brother 21 in a weak position. It seemed like her and Jackson Michie might be a showmance in the works but Michie dumped her for Holly Allen. She was outside the Gr8ful alliance throughout its existence. However, she was friends with Holly (who was a member of Gr8ful) from the outside world.

Kat was nominated for eviction in week 1 alongside Cliff Hogg III by Head of Household Christie Murphy. When Sam Smith won the Power of Veto, he used it to save Cliff and Ovi Kabir was nominated in his place. Kat stayed in a 12-0 vote.

Kat managed to stay off the block all the way until week 5. In week 3, she won the Power of Veto and used it to save her friend Jessica Milagros from eviction. In week 5, in an attempt to keep her relationship with Holly a secret from the rest of their housemates, Kat volunteered to be the replacement nominee. After Nick Maccarone won the Power of Veto to save himself, Kat was named the replacement nominee against Sam Smith.

This plan nearly blew up in Kat’s face when Jackson Michie inadvertently let it slip that Kat and Holly knew each other. Tommy Bracco attempted to flip the vote against Kat. Kat made one last emotional plea to stay in the game, which worked. Christie felt that Kat didn’t deserve to go and Sam was evicted in a 9-0 vote.

In week 6, Kat became part of the Cliff’s Angels alliance with Jessica, Cliff, and Nicole Anthony. The 4 used their newfound power to take out Jack Matthews. In week 7, Tommy nominated Kat alongside Cliff for eviction with the intention of targeting Kat. Cliff ended up making a deal with Nick Maccarone to stay safe that week. As a result, Kat was evicted in a 6-1 vote. Kat’s lone vote to stay came from Jessica.

Kat’s worst moves of Big Brother 21

Kat’s worst move was volunteering to be nominated for eviction in week 5. This nearly backfired in her face spectacularly and got her evicted. It was only her last-minute emotional plea that saved her from being evicted. This is a classic example of why you never volunteer to go on the block in Big Brother.
