If you’re looking for giggles instead of goosebumps this Halloween, this list is for you as it features 5 non-spooky movies to check out.

Halloween isn’t everyone’s favorite holiday. While some love the thrills and chills of the season, others dread the holiday, and rightfully so! Thankfully, there isn’t just one way to celebrate Halloween. While scary movies are usually what people want to watch, some can’t handle the scares. It’s all good, because there are a lot of other options out there.

For some reason, Halloween is known for being spooky when there are a lot of non-spooky activities to do. Most notably, you can have a non-spooky movie watching party. Whether you’re doing it alone or with friends, there are a ton of non-spooky movies to watch. These are also great movies to watch with the family. Children will love a non-spooky Halloween party.

For this list, I’m going to be featuring some Halloween films and some films that aren’t traditional Halloween picks, but still fit.

Of course, there are only 5 movies but there are a lot more out there to check out. If you have Freeform, then you’ll know about their 31 Nights of Halloween. That being said, I won’t be including Hocus Pocus, The Nightmare Before Christmas or other hyped films as they’re already being watched. Additionally, there won’t be any horror movies making the list, either.

With those guidelines out of the way, it’s time to get into my picks for the 5 best non-spooky movies to watch this Halloween. For the most part, these films are available on streaming services, so you can watch them without even leaving the comfort of your bed.
