2. The Descendants series

Keeping with the series theme, this series is one that just recently wrapped up so it’s a good one to sit down and marathon. While this one might not be for everyone, this Disney Channel original movie is surprisingly good. The Descendants series is obviously marketed towards kids, but is still pretty entertaining if you’re an adult as there are many stories in the show you’ll find interesting.

Similar to the last slide, breaking down these three films is pretty easy. The first one follows four kids whose parents are villains. They are getting a chance to go to the “regular” school where children of heroes go to and also save their parents.

The second film follows the same characters as they deal with a new threat to Auradon and their lives. The last film features the four characters bringing four other kids to Auradon and the revenge a side character tries to take out on them.

Once again, these aren’t traditional Halloween films, but do feature the children of villains so it’s not exactly a traditional Disney film. What makes these films great for Halloween is that every film features an evil opponent that our main characters have to deal with and each film does feature some dark moments. However, this series isn’t spooky, but rather focuses more on characters and has some catchy songs.
