The spirits of Hell keep escaping, and the Winchesters need to do something. Here are the top takeaways from the Supernatural Season 15, Episode 3 promo.

The Winchesters attempted to deal with the ghostly situation in town in Supernatural Season 15, Episode 2. However, the spirits aren’t stopping. Soon, the world will be overrun and it’s up to Team Free Will…3.0 (?) to figure out what to do next.

With the promo for Supernatural Season 15, Episode 3 out, it’s time to break down the scenes. This is a chance to figure out what could possibly happen. I’ll be honest and say things don’t look great for a certain character.

Before we get into the breakdown, you’ll want to check out the promo and synopsis for “The Rupture.” From this point, we could get into what some of you consider spoilers. For me, they’re just teasers but if you find promos and synopses spoilers, then you’ll want to look away. Why not check out the 11 greatest introductions on the show instead?

"Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) together with Rowena (guest star Ruth Connell) work tirelessly to keep all of hell from breaking loose. Castiel (Misha Collins) cannot forgive an arrogant betrayal."

Let’s get into the breakdown. Here are the top five things to take from the Supernatural Season 15, Episode 3 promo.

5. Everyone is back in the cemetery

We’re getting an episode back in the cemetery. This isn’t all that surprising. When it comes to closing the rift (or the rupture to link to the title of the episode?), why not do it right where it opened?

Of course, the group isn’t too happy about the idea of heading into the cemetery. Rowena makes a point that they’re going to die. She’s always the one full of optimism, right? And yes, that was sarcasm.

4. There’s a new being in town

More from Supernatural

There’s only a flash, but it looks like there’s a new demon, or angel, or whatever type of being this woman is. This could be the woman mentioned in Episode 2.

Ketch announced that he had been contracted to kill Belphegor. Another demon wants him dead, and this could be the demon that hired Ketch. It shouldn’t be surprising that the demon has potentially shown up, right?

3. The Winchesters will put their trust in Rowena

With the doorway to Hell open, the Winchesters need all the help they can get. If you’d have told them back in Season 10 that they would rely on Rowena to help five years later, there’s no way that they would have believed you.

However, when it’s come to figuring out a way to get the spirits back and close that rift, Rowena is the only one that the Winchesters do trust. And she’s willing to help, even if it will be tricky.

2. Belphegor still seems to be up to something

We knew that we couldn’t trust Belphegor, right? Everything he could do seemed just a little too convenient. Well, it looks like our suspicions are going to be confirmed in “The Rupture.” There’s a moment in the promo where it looks like Castiel is being thrown away telekinetically by Belphegor.

The synopsis also tells us that Castiel won’t be able to get over an arrogant betrayal. Initially, we thought that could have been feelings towards Dean, but there’s a huge chance that it’s aimed towards Belphegor.

1. Things aren’t looking great for Rowena

There was an image from Supernatural Season 15, Episode 3 that made me worried about Rowena. Sam has this sad look on his face as if he has to do something that he has never wanted to do.

We know that Sam is the one to kill Rowena. That doesn’t seem to have changed in her books. And in the Episode 3 promo, it looks like Sam is going to have to kill Rowena. She asks him whether he’s willing to risk the world for her. Is Rowena going to be the first permanent casualty of the final season?
