In the latest episode of The Good Place, Michael and Jason follow through with their plan to save Janet from the Bad Place, while Eleanor faces more troubles.

As it turns out, last week’s episode of The Good Place addressed a question we’ve been asking since the final season premiere: Was Michael body swapped? After a long and arduous trial process, Eleanor and the gang were finally able to discover that Janet had been marble-ized and taken to the Bad Place, with a Bad Janet put in her place. Believe it or not, Jason was able to crack the code and figure out the Janet in their midst wasn’t actually their Janet.

Now, it’s time for Jason to ride this wave of intelligence with Michael to venture to the Bad Place and bring Janet back home. Of course, the unlikely pair concoct a plan that’s no doubt crazy, dangerous, and unexpected. Meanwhile, back in the Good Place, Eleanor continues to realize the difficulties of being the ringleader of the neighborhood, as a firsthand experience of the job’s downside sends her reeling. As always, this could have everything or nothing to do with Chidi.
