Vanessa Hudgens is known for starring in incredibly sappy movies. And, frankly, we love them! Here are five of Hudgens’ movies that are total guilty pleasures.

Say what you’d like, but we all need a little sappiness in our lives! Hopeless romantics love falling in love with romcoms that are, to be honest, pretty feeble. You know the type! They are overly sentimental and they usually feature a prince (or princess) and a far-fetched setting. If you need some help, just search for movies starring Vanessa Hudgens.

To be clear, I’m definitely not hating here. I may never admit it outside of this article (and you bet I watch these home alone with wine), but these movies are my guilty pleasure! Also, please note that Hudgens didn’t always follow this genre. She has tried it all and this is just how we love to see her most!

Some of Vanessa Hudgens’ early roles include the High School Musical franchise, Sucker Punch, Grease Live!, and Machete Kills. And slowly she started moving on to romantic movies and it’s now her thing, and Netflix subscribers in particular are loving it!

Here are our biggest guilty pleasure sappy movies starring Vanessa Hudgens (in no particular order):

5. The Knight Before Christmas

Most recently, Hudgens is set to star in The Knight Before Christmas, which premieres Nov. 21 on Netflix. The movie follows a medieval English knight (Josh Whitehouse) and…yeah, enough said, right? But hey, this is a list of guilty pleasures, so hear me out!

A medieval knight is transported to present time, where he meets a high school teacher (Hudgens) and falls in love. Those are all the details we know about the movie, but really, do we need to know more? We know what we are in for and what to expect.
