Supernatural Season 7, Episode 9 left us with the fate of Bobby in the air. However, it did deliver some excellent lines and here are my five favorites.
Supernatural Season 7, Episode 9 is a difficult one to watch. Up to this point, we had no idea what the show had in store for us. However, by the end, we were reeling with worry for our favorite surrogate father ever on TV. While it was a shocking episode, it was also one with some excellent lines.
As a lookback at the episode, here are my five favorite lines from “How to Win Friends and Influence Monsters.”
This is stupid. Our quality of life is crap. We’ve got Purgatory’s least wanted everywhere and we’re on our third “the world is screwed” issue in what, three years?

I feel for Dean at the start of this episode. He’s just had enough of everything that’s happened in recent years. Losing everything that is his identity up to this point has gotten to him, as it would get to everyone.
He’s all but ready to call it a day. There isn’t a positive to take from all this, which certainly foreshadows the problem with the sandwich as he stops feeling everything.

Sidewinder soup and salad combo goes to Big Bird. TDK Slammer to Ken Doll. And a little Heart Smart for Creepy Uncle.
Brandon the waiter has a great line. As he’s dishing out the meals, he refers to the customers by some relatively insulting comments. It’s a sign of what’s to come with Brandon as the Turducken sandwich reacts badly with him.
However, the best part is we know without even watching the episode who each name refers to. Although, I do feel sorry for Bobby. He’s not really the Creepy Uncle, is he?
Do rats shake their asses or is it something else?
One thing I enjoy about Supernatural is the ability to bring the real world into the episodes. This was one of those lines.
Dean’s mind trails off to a thought while making a comment. If you’re anything like me, you do this, as you contemplate a saying and where it comes from. In this case, it’s whether rats shake their asses. Well, do they?
I think you pissed off my sandwich.
Yes, this episode is mostly about the funny lines. It needs to be considering the shocking twist at the very end.
When Sam and Bobby realize that the sandwich has something to do with the case, they decide to check on Dean’s sandwich. It’s then that the sandwich starts spewing out the blue-gray goo that was seen on the insides of one of the victims.
Dean is the one that states a truth—the sandwich clearly wasn’t happy with being found out. Okay, so it wasn’t the sandwich, but it made for a funny line.
He’s making the doctor eat himself.
The one reason this line stands out so much to me is because I love Team America: World Police. It’s a take from that. One of the characters thinks he’s seen it all, but is corrected because he’s not seen a man eat his own head. Well, now Bobby has officially seen it all, the line that comes just before this.
