Supernatural returns with a new monster-of-the-week episode, taking a break from the heavy emotions from the last episode.

After a week off, Supernatural is back with a new episode with the Winchester brothers going back to what they do best — saving people and hunting things.

There’s a new case at a high school where cheerleaders are going missing. The promo for the episode reminded me a little of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, which made me feel a bit nostalgic for the amazing series.

However, there is no Buffy in this one. Supernatural Season 15, Episode 4 ‘Atomic Monsters’ seems like a good call back to the origins of the series. Want to stream it? Get details below on how you can watch it online.

The last episode was a big one in the Supernatural universe. While the brothers are still together and hunting monsters, the world around them is slowly crumbling. We saw the loss of Rowena and Ketch, and then Castiel leaving because he felt he had no place by the Winchesters’ sides anymore.

There is a lot of damage that has been done to relationships with only the Winchesters holding strong right now.  Yet we can’t stay away from these problems for too long.

And the biggest issue we haven’t talked about is the God bullet in Sam’s shoulder. Sam and God are connected through it and it will likely manifest into something bigger, which hopefully means the return of Amara.

In the meantime, here’s the synopsis from Supernatural Season 15, Episode 4 “Atomic Monsters:”
