Planning out your Netflix binges now that the weekend has arrived? We’re here to help with five recommendations!
When Friday rolls around, it’s time to plan out what we’ll be watching on Netflix for the weekend. What will it be for you? A long binge-watch of your favorite series or a few movies? If you are still undecided, you have come to the right place! Below, we have five recommendations of movies and TV shows you can watch on Netflix beginning Nov. 8. Happy watching!
There are, unfortunately, only two new debuts that have become available today: Let It Snow and Green Eggs and Ham. Still, we have three other suggestions that premiered earlier this month you may have missed. Let’s get right to it!
Let It Snow: Welcome the holiday season and add some romance in your life with Let It Snow on Netflix! The movie stars Isabela Merced, Shameik Moore, Odeya Rush, Liv Hewson, and many others. Let It Snow centers on a small midwestern town during Christmas Eve after a snowstorm leaves everyone there stranded. The movie is based on the best-selling book of the same name by John Green, Maureen Johnson, and Lauren Myracle.
More from Netflix
- Bridgerton season 3: All the details to know about Penelope and Colin’s love story
- It’s a slow week on Netflix with only three new releases (Nov. 20)
- Exploding Kittens: From card game to Netflix animated series starring Tom Ellis
- The Crown and more Netflix shows and movies to stream this week (November 13)
- Escaping Twin Flames and more harrowing love-centered documentaries to watch on Netflix
Green Eggs and Ham: If they said you could only tune in to Green Eggs and Ham on Netflix if you are a kid, they were wrong. After all, we all grew up with Dr. Seuss. Kids are sure to love it, and am I the only one incredibly curious to see how they stretched this book into a whopping 13 episodes?
The End of the F***ing World: That wraps up all new releases this weekend, but one you may have missed earlier this month is probably the premiere of The End of the F***ing World Season 2, which was released Nov. 5. You may have been too busy this week to realize it, or perhaps you wanted to wait until the weekend to catch up to all the episodes. Either way, there’s no better time to watch than now.

The Devil Next Door: Are you into Netflix’s crime documentaries? Who isn’t! The Devil Next Door premiered Nov. 4 and follows the true story of John Demjanjuk, a retired Ukrainian-American whose attempt at a peaceful life is halted when he is recognized as one of the most cruel Nazi death camp guards. He heavily contributed to torturing and killing one million Jewish prisoners and The Devil Next Door centers on what many call “the trial of the century” as Demjanjuk is put on trial for his crimes against humanity.
Seth Meyers: Lobby Baby: If the above don’t quite call your name, particularly The Devil Next Door, watch a stand-up comedy! Seth Meyers: Lobby Baby premiered on Netflix earlier this month and sees the late night host take the stage at the Pantages Theater in Minneapolis to chat about family, being a father, and relationships.
