Emergence is shaping up to be a series that you need to watch each week. Answers are coming fast. Will there be more answers tonight, Nov. 12?

Unlike so many other mystery shows, Emergence isn’t wasting time in delivering answers. After the big reveal at the end of the last episode, we need to see the next. Will that be tonight? Is there a new episode of Emergence on ABC tonight, Nov. 12?

Sadly, we’re going to be waiting an extra week for a new episode of the new mystery drama. ABC is taking a week off, likely to help a few other shows catch up. It’s worth remembering that mixed-ish and black-ish have had two weeks off with various specials happening.

There’s not even a rerun of the drama. ABC is opting for a Dolly Parton special. Dolly Parton: Here She Comes Again is a look at the life of the iconic country artist. This is a woman who has entertained us for 60 years, and it’s time to honor that.

There’s a lot of ground to cover when Emergence returns. Jo has a lot of making up to do. At the end of the last episode, Alex and Ed found out that Piper is an A.I. More importantly, they found out that Jo had been lying to them about it all this time. Naturally, they’re hurt and, unsurprisingly, Alex took Mia away from the house to protect his daughter.

You can’t really blame the guy. All he wants is to make sure his daughter is safe.

However, will everyone come together when Piper goes missing? We also found out that Piper hasn’t been speaking to Kindred all this time. It was Emily all this time.
