1. House of Mouse

The last show is yet another forgotten Toon Disney show. There was truly nothing like it before and nothing that’s come after has been anything close. House of Mouse is hard to describe, but it somehow managed to bring together all of our very Disney characters under one roof. The show was doing crossovers before it was cool but let’s get into what the show was about.

What’s House of Mouse about?: Set in ToonTown, the series features Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy and Daisy all working together at a club owned by Mickey. While it might seem a little bit odd, the show is entertaining. Most of the runtime is taken up by Mickey showing the crowd different cartoons featuring the Fab Five. What truly makes the show special though is that it features all of the different Disney characters mingling together which is something that we rarely see. The series wasn’t groundbreaking in terms of its content but rather what it did.

House of Mouse ran for three seasons with a total of 52 episodes. The show also produced two direct-to-DVD holiday films with one focusing on Halloween while the other focused on Christmas. Overall, the series is one that seems to be forgotten through time.

Will House of Mouse be added to Disney+ eventually?: This is tough to answer, but many of us would think yes. Considering that Netflix has the two-holiday specials, then Disney would want to give the series a second life. Fingers crossed that they change their mind in the future because the House of Mouse would definitely have an audience now.
