A Million Little Things will see Maggie get the offer of a fellowship. It’s going to make Gary question a few things. What are the chances that she gets the offer of a fellowship in another part of the country, and Gary has to decide whether he’s going to follow or not? Or will Maggie decide to turn it down?

With everything the two have been through, don’t they deserve a chance at some happiness? Can we see them both just spend some time together without the drama in the way? Yes, jobs come and go, but there are other characters to focus on.

One of those characters is Rome, whose parents are back in town. We last saw them arguing at their 50th wedding anniversary when Rome’s dad made it clear he didn’t want to go on a cruise. In the end, Rome’s dad changed his tune and headed off on the cruise with his wife. Now it looks like they’re back.

Meanwhile, things are going to be heating up with the Delilah/Eddie/Katherine triangle. Eddie needs to know who was named as Charlie’s father on the birth certificate. It’s clear that it has to be Jon, which is going to devastate Eddie. It’s also going to cause some legal headache, because Katherine is not going to let this go.

I’ve loved seeing Eddie and Katherine work as a team, even though Delilah is going to feel ganged up on right now. Katherine could have asked Eddie to walk away from everything to make their marriage work, but she’s been fair and reasonable. But that does mean she wants Eddie to have this chance to be a good father.
