The CW saw some boosts to its shows in the ratings for Nov. 13. However, the same couldn’t be said for most other networks. Here are the TV ratings.
The Wednesday TV ratings for Nov. 13 are in. While Riverdale and Nancy Drew ticked up, the same couldn’t be said for Almost Family and The Masked Singer. Here’s a look at the results for the night.
ABC opted for a special during the night. It was all about the 53rd Annual CMA Awards, which certainly won the night in both the total audience and the demo. It may have led to a dip in the ratings among other shows.

- Thursday TV ratings: Grey’s Anatomy up, Walker Independence down
- Wednesday TV ratings: One Chicago mixed, Kung Fu down (November 9)
- Tuesday TV ratings: The Resident and Monarch down (November 8)
- Monday TV ratings: All American down, Quantum Leap up (Nov. 7)
- Weekend live TV ratings: Fire Country and FBI mixed
FOX had the worst night of the lot, losing 20% of both the audience and demo for The Masked Singer and seeing Almost Family plummet to a new low. Things aren’t looking good for the Brittany Snow series, which fell to a dangerously low 1.671 million viewers and a 0.5 rating.

CBS had a slightly more mixed night. The two-hour special of Survivor was down by 11% in the audience and 10% in the demo, but a show like this does see ups and downs. It’s nothing to worry about since the show has already been renewed for a 40th season, which will air in the spring.
SWAT remained steady in the demo. However, the total audience was down by 20%. Wednesdays are a difficult night and this police drama is going up against Chicago PD.
Speaking of PD, the One Chicago lineup fared okay during the night. All three shows remained steady in the demo. Med continued to lead all three, despite its 8% drop in the total audience. Chicago Fire saw a 7% drop for its emotional episode—I have a feeling there will be a lot of people catching up on Hulu—and PD remained steady.
The CW was the network to have the best night. Riverdale‘s demo was up by 50% and the total audience up by 8.5%. While it’s still only at a 0.3 rating, it’s average for the network and means the small-town series is likely safe.
Fellow small-town series, Nancy Drew, was also up in both metrics. The demo was up 100% to 0.2, while the total audience saw a tick up by 15%. Despite being one of the lowest-rated shows on the network, I don’t think there’s too much to worry about the series. It is a CBS Studios show, which means it’s cheaper to run on the network compared to the Warner Bros. shows, and The CW knows that the DVR ratings are where it fares better.
