4. Darth Maul

Arguably, the most fearsome designed character in Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, Darth Sidious’s first apprentice had an unsatisfying character arc in the 1999 film. Luckily for fans, Darth Maul did not meet his demise after his sliced body fell down the shaft.

In Solo: A Star Wars Story, Darth Maul made his live-action return and fans were surprised to see him. He’s the master of the crime syndicate Crimson Dawn and this opens up a whole other world of Star Wars for the big screen.

A Darth Maul film could develop him as a character as a ruthless leader on the silver screen. Another direction for a Darth Maul movie would be a heist film where the Crimson Dawn are pulling off the heist of the galaxy.

Another direction would be a prequel to Episode I  that expands on Darth Maul and Darth Sidious’s relationship. Watching the ruthlessness of the beholder of the double-bladed lightsaber as he impresses his master would give bother characters more depth.

For Darth Sidious, we will get to see how he changed as a master compared to the days of mastering his second apprentice. For Darth Maul, audiences will be delighted to finally be able to watch him shine in a movie that focuses on him.
