2. Carnage

As stated earlier, 2018’s Venom was a commercial success, but critically it was panned. Personally, I was not a fan of Venom’s latest big screen treatment, and the sequel that it set up doesn’t look promising either.

Venom teases the Carnage Symbiote in a future film. Woody Harrelson will reprise his role as Cleetus Kasady in Venom 2, and if the film is successful enough, audiences shouldn’t be surprised if Carnage gets his own spin-off.

Carange is like Marvel’s Joker, the character is literally inspired by him, so a rated-R film would be ideal. The pieces are already there to set up an interesting film just based on the Cleetus Kasady character before he becomes Carnage.

A psychological horror thriller that focuses on Kasady and the crimes that caused him to be locked up at the end of Venom. With Woody Harrelson being an older actor and Kasady having a troubled childhood, this gives the film a lot of room to make Carnage an iconic film villain.

Audiences should not be surprised if we see Spider-Man and Venom teaming up to take out Carnage in a future film. Fans can feel their Spider-Senses tingling as we are getting closer to the day where we see the big screen adaptation of the Maximum Carnage storyline.
