2. Honey, I Shrunk the Kids

This movie does not get the credit as it deserves. Even though, there has been a lot of remakes to this classic movie nothing compares to the original like Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. Honey, I Shrunk the Kids showed us just how parents can mess up just as well as the children.

What is the movie about : Released in 1989, Honey, I Shrunk the Kids follows the tale of an inventor Wayne Szalinski’s experiment of a shrink ray. His kids start playing around in the basement and activate the shrink ray making them little. Now, the kids have to find a way to return to human size all while their father has no idea what is going on. The kids take a journey through the house trying to find someone to help them.

Why should you stream it: Honey, I Shrunk the Kids needs more attention after viewing it on Disney Plus. It shows how parents make mistakes as well as kids do. Kids putting their different asides with the siblings to work together is not common. Most movies siblings are constantly fighting and may have moments that are genuine toward each other.

Well for this movie, kids quickly had to adjust being small and put the differences aside to become normal again. Honey, I Shrunk the Kids reminds me of the adventures of being a kid and trying to not in trouble with your parents. Not enough people give this movie credit, it may be an old classic movie but it still deserves some praise.
