Two weeks ago, casting director Robyn Kass announced the former houseguests would be giving casting advice to fans. These pieces of advice would become available starting last Monday. Today’s piece of advice came from Big Brother 20 houseguest Rachel Swindler.

Rachel’s advice was to know the show you are auditioning for. By this she means to know what the show is about and just do your homework on it. Doing this provides valuable knowledge to you. Rachel says casting producers will want to know things like your favorite HOH Competitions, favorite Veto Competitions, who your favorite past contestants were and who you didn’t like.

Doing research can definitely help in more ways than one. It can help you prepare for competitions, it can help you develop strategies for the game. Plus, by knowing what the show is about, it gives producers more confidence in picking you.

Rachel’s time on Big Brother 20

Rachel started off Big Brother 20 in a strong position. She was part of the Level 6 alliance with Tyler Crispen, Angela Rummans, Kaycee Clark, Brett Robinson, and Winston Hines.

In week 2, she was voted the least trending player by America. As a result, she had to pick a crap app. The crap app she picked gave her the “Yell!” punishment. For this punishment, an angry reviewer came into the house at random times over 24 hours. He would loudly provide negative feedback on their existence in the house. In week 4, Rachel was named a have-not by HOH Samantha “Sam” Bledsoe.

Game-wise, Rachel was able to remain safe through the first 4 evictions. In week 5, Bayleigh Dayton won HOH and nominated Rachel alongside her ally Brett. Tyler won the POV that week and chose not to use it. When Bayleigh’s side of the house wanted to evict Brett, Tyler turned the tables on them and his alliance got Rachel evicted in a 5-4 vote.
