Frozen II is now finally here to watch in theaters after a long six-year wait! Do you think it will be as good as the original movie?

It has been six years since sisters Ana (Kristen Bell) and Elsa (Idina Menzel) graced our screens. Now, it’s finally time for the much-anticipated sequel to Frozen which is now playing in theaters everywhere. But will have a wider launch on Friday, Nov. 22. When will you be watching?

The original movie was a huge hit with almost every child loving Disney’s newest princess movie (maybe a little too much). It broke box office records with a huge $1.2 billion in 2013, making it the highest-grossing animated movie ever!

Now we all know Disney doesn’t get as much love as they would like with remakes and sequels, but the biggest question is, will Frozen II be able to warm up the current frosty box office?

According to ForbesFrozen II has already sold more tickets in the first 24 hours of presale than any other animated movie, we don’t know if the hype will continue like the original movie, but it sure has potential. It is possible for Frozen II to become the first animated movie to pass $100 million in its first weekend outside of summer, which could be easy as the other movies in theaters right now aren’t that great.

We will happily see the return of Kristen Bell, Indina Menzel, Josh Gad and Jonathan Groff but this time they will be venturing outside of their kingdom Arendelle into the unknown.

Frozen was almost perfect, but a question that probably popped into everyone’s mind at some point was how did Elsa get her powers and why was she born with them? The sequel will hopefully answer these questions though, with Elsa and the gang exploring the enchanted forests and dark seas beyond their kingdom in hopes to find the truths about the past.

The music in the original movie certainly made it more magical and added to the effect Frozen had on the world. Luckily Frozen II will also feature new songs including “Into the Unknown” which is performed by Idina Menzel and Aurora. I really hope the sequel will be as good as the first!
