Where can you stream Frozen II?
By Sandy C.
Frozen II is now playing in theaters everywhere, but where can you stream the movie at home once it leaves the big screen?
After a six-year wait, our favorite sisters are back! Frozen II premiered in theaters over the weekend and fans of the movie are rushing to theaters to catch up with Anna and Elsa. Did you watch the movie opening day or are you waiting until the weekend to watch it? Don’t forget, this is Thanksgiving weekend and many are on school break or taking time off work, it’s the perfect time to watch movies on the big screen.
Though we don’t recommend waiting to stream Frozen II at home, especially after it has already been six years from the first movie, we understand you may want to rewatch it once it’s available on streaming. After all, movie tickets nowadays are a bit pricey (and that doesn’t even include the popcorn cravings). So we’ve got what you need to know about when and where you can stream Frozen II once it leaves theaters.

Lucky for us all, the answer is simple! Frozen II will be streaming on Disney Plus, of course! The original movie is currently available there, as are other Disney projects (and many more to come). But when, exactly, will it become available?
Typically, movies take 3-4 months after their premiere date to become available on Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital. So we can expect to see Frozen II copies for sale (and rent) as early as Feb. 2020. As for free streaming, that should only be a couple of months after February. I’m predicting it’ll be on Disney Plus by Summer 2020. We’ll keep you posted!
Will you be watching Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Olaf, and Sven embark on a new journey this weekend? Currently, the movie has a Rotten Tomatoes score of 76% from critics and a more positive review of 95% from audiences.
