Everything you need to know about Fuller House Season 5
Fuller House Season 5 (Part A) hits Netflix on Dec. 6. Here’s everything you need to know about the show’s final season.
The Fuller family will grace our screens with new episodes in December for the beginning of the end. Netflix confirmed nearly a year ago that Fuller House Season 5 would be the final one, though it should be considered an accomplishment considering many Netflix originals don’t seem to last as long. Now that we know Season 5 will be split up into two parts, Netflix has released the first official trailer to give us an idea as to what we can expect.
Part A of the final season will focus on Stephanie raising her new baby with fiancé Jimmy, though it looks like he will be on the road, resulting in the rest of the family assisting with the new addition. DJ will have to remind Stephanie that “family raises family.”

The She Wolf Pack will have to navigate their lives as engaged women while also balancing their jobs and raising kids. I smell a triple wedding in the near future – perhaps for the grand series finale down the line? The final season could also explore the possibility of the families splitting up into their own living spaces. As Ramona points out, “There’s gonna be a lot of people in this house. You know legally, if three more people move in, we have to register as a commune.”
We can also expect to be treated to an appearance from singer-songwriter Lisa Loeb, the potential grand reopening of Harmon-Fuller Pet Care, Ramona finding a new boyfriend, crazy outfits, a dance number (or two), and the Fuller house being home to new family shenanigans. See for yourself in the trailer below.
Many fans have pointed out that one person we can expect to not see this season is Lori Loughlin’s Aunt Becky. After her college admissions scandal earlier this year, it was reported that Lori would not reprise her guest role in Season 5.
As far as how many episodes will be included in Part A, it’s expected that nine episodes will be released on Dec. 6, with the final batch of nine episodes being released sometime in 2020. The last time Fuller House had a two-part season was for Season 3, which had a nine-episode Part A released in September 2017 and a nine-episode Part B out just a few months later in December. It seems possible the final Fuller House episodes could be released as soon as March if they follow the same pattern.
