Chicago Fire Season 8’s fall finale has brought plenty of open storylines catapulting us into the new year. Here are the biggest five questions.

5. Will Severide make it out alive?

The Chicago Fire fall finale left us with a cliffhanger involving Severide. Somehow, nobody had checked the basement of the place, so the suspect was still down there. The police might want to learn how to do their jobs properly!

But that did lead to Severide finding himself in a basement full of explosive material and the suspect with a flare. If that flare drops in the wrong place, the whole building will go up in flames. So, how is Severide going to get out of this one?
