Is Chicago Fire on tonight, Nov. 27?

NBC has been all about One Chicago Wednesdays. You’re likely getting ready for a night of mayhem and fires, but is Chicago Fire on tonight, Nov. 27?

Our week wouldn’t be right without One Chicago Wednesdays, right? So, you’re getting ready for a night of Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago PD. Wait, why aren’t the shows on tonight, Nov. 27?

Chicago Fire and its spin-offs all aired their fall finales last week. That’s why the episodes were each left with major cliffhangers to resolve. For Chicago Fire, the main focus is on Severide, who is stuck in a basement with a man who clearly isn’t afraid to blow himself and everyone else up around him.

However, that’s not the only question we have for the Firehouse 51 characters. We have a few storylines left open, with a potential return for a character in the new year.

While we’re waiting for One Chicago to come back, will we get reruns? That isn’t in cards for NBC. The network is avoiding as many weeks of reruns and blank spaces as possible. Instead, tonight, you’ll get the premiere of Ellen’s Game of Games at 8 p.m. and then a Thanksgiving special of Saturday Night Live started at 9 p.m.

This is going to be it for Chicago Fire and the spin-offs until the new year. Don’t expect any reruns unless NBC has really run out of content, but considering there are plenty of holiday specials, that’s not likely to be the case.
