Will Saturday Night Live air a special Thanksgiving episode this year? We’ve got the scoop on whether or not you can count on the laughs!
Saturday Night Live on NBC never fails to bring on the laughs, but we especially love their holiday specials! This past Saturday, Nov. 23, Will Ferrell hosted (with King Princess as the night’s musical guest) and had everyone rolling on the floor with laughter. There were so many sketches, that a few weren’t aired and cut due to time. We share one of them, below!
One of our favorite SNL sketches in the latest episode is a Thanksgiving skit that features an all-white cast portraying native americans — something that was clearly done on purpose as part of the message the sketch is trying to deliver. But is that the only 2019 Thanksgiving sketch we’re getting or are there more to come?

We’ve got great and not so great news. As for new Thanksgiving sketches, that would be a no! Fans will, unfortunately, not see any more new holiday material from the cast of SNL. However, that doesn’t mean the comedy is leaving us dry this holiday season!
Tonight on NBC, at 9-11 p.m. ET, the network will be airing all of Saturday Night Live‘s Thanksgiving sketches! So, if you’ve ever wanted to see all of the Thanksgiving sketches in one sitting, now’s your chance! Though this won’t be airing on the actual date of the holiday (which falls on Thursday, Nov. 28), we can still tune in to enjoy some pre-turkey laughs.
