Mr. Robot: 3 questions we have after Season 4, Episode 9 409 Conflict
By Sandy C.
Mr. Robot never fails to leave fans pleasantly puzzled each Sunday, but the latest episode raises some interesting questions!
After the big reveal on Mr. Robot a couple of weeks ago, just like Elliot, we just haven’t been the same. What other clues have we been given that we failed to catch? There are only three episodes left before, not only this season, but the series is over! Needless to say, we are not ready and are buckling up for what is sure to be an intense and shocking finale.
Spoiler alert! Please note there are massive spoilers ahead if you are not caught up on all the episodes of Mr. Robot. Seriously anything that has to do with the drama series is huge, so you’re risking ruining important plots of the story if you read ahead.
Here are the biggest questions we have after watching Mr. Robot Season 4, Episode 9, Conflict:
3. Is Angela really alive?
Maybe it’s wishful thinking or denial, but I never truly believed Angela was really killed off. The photo Elliot receives of her dead body killed those doubts for me, but then why would Whiterose bring her up as a bargaining chip? Sure, he could easily be lying, but then when Phillip Price brings her up, Whiterose doesn’t deny or confirm anything.

It also does not make sense for Whiterose to have truly killed Angela. She was still useful to him. Is she really dead or has she participated in the best and most cruel fake-death scheme ever? It’s probably the former, but still it makes you wonder.
Bonus question: What about Tyrell? Is he alive? You know what they say, if you don’t see a dead body, it likely didn’t happen!
2. Who will survive?
My first bet here has always been Darlene. She’ll live to tell the tale, and I still believe this. But now that Dominique survived that Dark Army ordeal, maybe there will be more survivors than we imagined. If so, I really hope Elliot is among the lucky few. What do you think?

1. Who even is Elliot?
Hold the phone and let’s chat about that opening scene in the latest episode! What do they mean Elliot woke up two months ago? The real Elliot? Then who have we been following all these years? There amazing theories surfacing online at the moment, mainly over at Reddit.
One of my favorites is how Elliot created the Elliot we know to carry out this mission after doing something horrible, and now he is too far gone and may not return unless they snap him back to reality…but how? What do they have to tell him that will bring back the real Elliot? What other shocking secrets are left to learn about? I can’t take it.
We’ll have to tune in to find out! I’m both excited and incredibly nervous, anxious, scared, and all the sad and negative feelings. I just hope Elliot comes back from all of this okay, but that seems highly unlikely at this point.
Mr. Robot airs Sunday nights only on the USA Network — there are only 3 episodes left!
