3. Starfire

Starfire is still a figure in Titans that truly appears in doses, never really getting a full understanding of. Because of the fact that Starfire has always been an anomaly in comics, tv, and animation, there’s a need for the Titan member that brings heart to the DC heroes.

Unfortunately, she began to lose her powers in the second season and she was primarily focused on diverting attention from herself and it somewhat reduced her activity with the team. The introduction of her sister Blackfire means that Starfire is going to become a lead so we expect the next chapter of the series to really challenge Starfire in ways we haven’t seen before.

2. Superboy

The post-credit scene introducing Superboy last year was a major moment for Titans comic fans from the early 2000s. When he was actually introduced this season, he was almost instantly one of the best facets of the series played by the talented Joshua Orpin.

As the clone of Lex Luthor and Superman, he obviously struggles with dual identities and finds a balance as a wonderful inclusion to Titans. He has vulnerability paired with underlying intensity, giving us both incredible bursts of action as well as individuality.

Now that Superboy is a core member of the team, he has the potential to be the best character of the series. Bring on season three of Conner Kent and Krypto!

1. Nightwing

The entire 13 episodes had viewers wondering exactly when Nightwing would make his debut, but we finally met the more evolved version of Dick Grayson. Dick has spent plenty of time going through the roadblocks of his past, but now we are finally able to see a new and improved character that will lead the Titans the way we deserve and desire.

Because of the slow-burn progression of his growth, the reveal of Nightwing made everything look a little brighter and Brenton Thwaites couldn’t be a more perfect person to play the character. We now suspect that Nightwing will become the strong mentor-like character he has always had the capability to be, and we can’t wait to see what the iconic character will bring to the table.
