In the midseason finale of Dynasty, Elaine Hendrix makes her debut as the new Alexis Carrington as Blake’s trial creates fireworks for the family.
She’s back! After nearly half a season away, Alexis returns to Dynasty, but she doesn’t look like Nicollette Sheridan or Elizabeth Gillies. Rather, Elaine Hendrix debuts as a series regular in the midseason finale with her take on Alexis Carrington. Provided that most millennials know Hendrix as the conniving Meredith Blake from The Parent Trap, she’s perfectly suited to step into this role. And it’s the most opportune time for Alexis to circle back to Atlanta, just as Blake’s trial heats up.
With the start of Blake’s murder trial, it’s an all-out mess for the Carrington family as their secrets and stories get put under the microscope on the stand. The promo trailer for the midseason finale has already promised a world class Fallon outburst that’s sure to hurt Blake more than it helps him. But maybe that’s her goal. Elsewhere in the 2019 capper, Dynasty looks to follow-up that Adam-centric cliffhanger with more details about Fallon’s motivations for paying off Nadia.
