Nate Burleson

Where You Know Them From: Nate Burleson is a former NFL wide receiver turned broadcast personality. You can catch him on NFL Network’s Good Morning Football as well as the long-running pop culture series Extra.

Why They Should Compete: No season of Dancing with the Stars would be complete without an NFL star, so who better to fill that spot in Season 29 than former NFL wide receiver turned TV personality Nate Burleson. Burleson was a fan favorite during his time in the NFL and his welcoming and fun personality should easily help him to win over the Dancing with the Stars audience. We’ve seen NFL stars do particularly well in competing and there’s no denying Burleson has what it takes to keep that trend going.

Dream Dancing with the Stars Pro Pairing: Emma Slater

Who better to pair this former NFL receiver turned television personality with than Emma Slater, who took home her first Mirrorball trophy with the help of fellow former NFL personality Rashad Jennings. As we saw through their partnership, Emma has a way of bringing out the best in NFL personalities and with Slater at his side Burleson could easily become a top contender in any season.
