Dancing with the Stars: 12 stars who should compete in DWTS season 29
By Cody Schultz
Lacey Chabert
Where You Know Them From: Lacey Chabert’s big break came in the late ‘90s in the hit sitcom Party of Five; however, for a generation she is known as the Regina George’s loyal sidekick Gretchen Wieners in the 2004 classic Mean Girls. As the years have gone by, Chabert has starred in a number of projects becoming best known a queen of Hallmark movies.
Why They Should Compete: Perhaps it’s our love of all-things Hallmark, but there are few stars we’d be more enthused to see compete on Dancing with the Stars than Chabert! As we’ve highlighted in years past when campaigning for ABC to cast Chabert,
"“Chabert always manages to bring a warmth and realism to her roles, allowing audiences to better connect with her characters. It is this same warmth that would make Chabert an instant hit among Dancing with the Stars viewers, as fans often vote for celebrities based on their likability and ability to connect with the fans watching live.”"
It’s a shame years Chabert has yet to be cast in the years since the above was written, but it still rings true. We can only hope ABC will finally take note and extend an invitation for Chabert to join the cast.
Dream Dancing with the Stars Pro Pairing: Brandon Armstrong
It was a true shame we were forced to bid farewell to Brandon Armstrong so early on in Season 28, but a partnership with the beloved Chabert could be a great rebound! Their personalities would compliment one another’s perfectly and the duo would be a blast to watch.
