Emergence saw a tick up for its winter finale but The Masked Singer was down. Here’s a look at the Tuesday TV ratings for Dec. 10.

Tuesday, dec. 10 brought us a mix across the networks. NBC and FOX had some shakeups to the usual line-up, The CW had the third part of the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover, and CBS had a night of reruns. Here’s a look at the TV ratings to see how everything fared.

The only network to opt for a regular lineup was ABC, which aired winter finales of its shows. The ConnorsBless This Mess, and mixed-ish all saw downward ticks in some or all metrics. The Connors was the worst with a 16% fall in the demo and a 0.6% fall in the total audience. Bless This Mess fell by 14% in the demo, but did go up 0.8% in the audience, while mixed-is fell by 16% in the demo but was up 6% in the total audience.

Right now, I’m on the fence about Bless This Messmixed-ish, and black-ish (which was up in both metrics by a good amount). I don’t think ABC will cancel almost all of its Tuesday night, but some of these shows are on the line.

Emergence is another. It’s 0.4 steady demo probably isn’t enough when it couldn’t even beat the NCIS: New Orleans rerun. Even the 18% uptick in the audience probably isn’t enough. Except for The CW and FOX’s The Moody’s, it was the lowest-viewed show of the night.

Speaking of The Moodys, the series did rebound from last night. And it rebounded well. It looks like it was Beat Shazam‘s poor return that caused the slump in the Christmas-themed series.

Sadly, FOX didn’t have great results with The Masked Singer. While the show did win the demo, it was down 11% from the previous episode. The total audience was down 12%. The network likely knew this would happen since it was a one-off Tuesday night special. Usually, The Resident fans are tuning in at 8 p.m. on Tuesdays.

Making It also rebound, and pulled in its highest audience of the season. This is a great sign, but is it enough to keep the series on the air? There are two more episodes. If it continues to go up or just hold steady, there is a slim chance that it will be NBC’s next year’s Christmas pick.

The Flash

The CW was the network to watch. Crisis on Infinite Earths delivered its third episode in the five-episode crossover. And fans are tuned in. The demo remained steady and the audience ticked up to 1.71 million. When it comes to comparing it to the previous episode of The Flash, the ratings were up 20% and 30% respectively.

Usually, crossovers will see downward movement getting into the next episodes. Some fans who tuned in to check it out may not have been impressed with the story. That’s certainly not the case here. Crisis is doing everything right to keep people intrigued.
