FanSided 250, the ultimate ranking of fandoms, has included The CW’s Supernatural on its newest list. But where did Supernatural fans fall compared to other tv series?

The dark fantasy drama series filled with monsters, urban legends, and oh-so-much heart premiered back in 2005 on The WB before moving to the The CW, where it currently still airs. Starring Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki as brothers on a quest to locate their father — the duo kick off the series finding themselves hunting monsters on an epic road trip while following something of a guidebook in their dad’s journal.

The fanbase for the series grew rapidly, and with a giant social media presence and fan conventions all over the world, the series has really crafted an entire global community of supportive fans who show love to each other just as much as they do to the show. In the series’ 11th season, Supernatural became the longest-running American live-action fantasy television series of all time, and the series is currently in its 20-episode final season.

FanSided 250, annual ranking of all categories of fandoms from sports to brands to television and more, has just released its newest list — and we were not surprised to learn that Supernatural fans had made the cut once again.

Though the series is currently on its winter hiatus, Supernatural returns in early 2020 with what’s sure to be a very emotional and cathartic story as the series comes to a close.
