Netflix is adding a lot of action to your weekend with 6 Underground, but what other movies and TV shows are now streaming?

Each weekend, we look to Netflix for the latest movie or TV show to watch. The biggest highlight this weekend, is 6 UndergroundIt is Netflix’s biggest movie yet, but that movie seems to be taking all of the attention as it’s the only big addition this Friday. What will you be watching?

Netflix subscribers are used to coming home after work on Friday evenings and turning on Netflix to see what’s new. This weekend, unfortunately, only focuses on 6 Underground. And while you should definitely watch this movie, we’re also recommending releases that debuted earlier this month, as well — just so you have more options!

Here are some great things to watch on Netflix this weekend. 

6 Underground: As already mentioned, this is a great thriller to watch this weekend. The movie stars Ryan Reynolds, Corey Hawkins, Ben Hardy, and Dave Franco. 6 Underground follows a group of six individuals who have their records erased in order to join an organization as a vigilante squad.

Marriage StoryThis movie, starring Scarlett Johansson and Adam Driver, premiered on Netflix Dec. 6, and screened in select theaters ahead of its release at the streaming giant. It has received various nominations and is expected to gather more as award season draws closer. Marriage Story showcases the falling of a marriage and the emotionally struggling battle of divorce.

A Christmas Prince: The Royal Baby: For all those hopeless romantics out there who are fans of the Christmas Prince movies, don’t forget to continue the story by watching the third film, The Royal Baby, which became available to stream on Dec. 5.

V WarsThis thriller-drama is always a great watch! It premiered on Dec. 5 and follows Dr. Lather (Ian Somerhalder) as he tries to find a cure for an illness that is transforming everyone into vampires. This series is a great escape for those not too fond of Christmas specials.

The Confession Killer: Speaking of escapes, it’s no secret that Netflix has some great crime documentaries, and the latest to join the service is The Confession Killer. This one follows Henry Lee Lucas, a serial killer from the early ’80s who confesses to hundreds of murders, but the evidence is simply not adding up.
