Supernatural Season 15 brought its fall finale on Thursday and the Live + Same Day ratings are in. The episode ticked up in the audience, which admittedly was expected since it was the fall finale.
Fans typical tune into the premiere, fall finale, midseason premiere, and finale live for each season. They know they’ll get an episode focused on the overall story, bringing plenty of big moments, major questions, and more.
This episode saw the return of Michael and Adam, both played by Jake Abel, which certain intrigued fans. We’ve needed closure on that storyline for so long, and the writers found a way to naturally bring in a reason to head to the Cage.
As an extra treat, we found out what happened to another character while in Hell. Rowena was back, and she was certainly flourishing from her sacrifice.
So, how were the metrics? TV Series Finale gives us the Live + Same Day ratings. At the time of writing this, they’re just the preliminary results. They’ll be finalized within a couple of days. However, they’re looking good.
The demo remained steady at 0.3. This is about standard for Supernatural and The CW overall, so we can be happy with this. The total audience ticked up 4% to 1.106 million. After dipping to a series low last week, it’s good to see the metrics going back up.
Sure, these ratings don’t matter for the future of the show. However, we want the series to end on a high, right?
