With the year nearly over, we decided to take a look back at the 2 seasons of Big Brother we had this year. In our look back, we decided to rank our 10 greatest players of the year.

With 2019 almost over, we decided to reflect on the 2 seasons of Big Brother that took place this year. We realized we had several good players over the course of the year. With this in mind, we decided to rank the 10 best players of the year. This will cover both Celebrity Big Brother 2 and Big Brother 21. Checking in at No. 7 is Tom Green.

No. 7: Tom Green

Tom was America’s Favorite Player on Celebrity Big Brother 2. He won the hearts of Big Brother fans with his comedy and gameplay. He was also known on the show for his friendship with Kato Kaelin.

In the first cycle, Tom formed an early alliance with Kato and Anthony Scaramucci. Ryan Lochte won HOH. Jonathan Bennett became a special 3rd nominee after losing the HOH Competition to Ryan. When Jonathan’s alliance wanted Dina Lohan nominated for eviction, Jonathan influenced Ryan’s nominations to keep Dina safe.

As a result, Tom and Anthony were nominated alongside Jonathan for eviction. Ricky Williams won the POV and chose not to use it. However, Tom’s ally Anthony turned out to be a fake houseguest and Anthony left on Day 6. Ryan named Kandi Burruss the replacement nominee.

As a result of Anthony leaving, a new POV was put up for grabs. Kato won the POV and used it to save Tom from eviction. Joey Lawrence was named the replacement nominee and Jonathan was evicted 6-1.

Tom’s ally Kato won HOH in the second cycle and they targeted Ryan. Kato nominated Dina Lohan and Tamar Braxton for eviction to set up a backdoor. Tom won the POV and chose to use it on Dina. Kato subsequently named Ryan the replacement nominee and he was evicted 6-1.

In the third cycle, Tom won HOH and nominated Joey and Kandi. Natalie Eva Marie won the POV and kept nominations the same. Tom was able to knock out his target when Joey was evicted 6-0.

In the fourth cycle, Tamar won HOH and nominated Tom and Kato for eviction with the intention of splitting them up. Lolo Jones won the POV that week and chose not to use it. Kato was then evicted in a 5-0 vote, leaving Tom without any allies.

In the fifth cycle, Tom won HOH. He nominated Ricky and Natalie for eviction, with the intention of targeting Ricky. However, it soon became clear to him that nobody wanted to evict Ricky and he shifted his target. Tom also won the POV that week and chose to use it on Ricky and named Lolo the replacement nominee. At the live eviction, Natalie was evicted 4-0.

In the sixth cycle, Lolo won HOH and nominated Kandi and Tom, with the intention of evicting Tom. Tamar won the POV and chose not to use it that week. At the live eviction, Tom was evicted 3-0. On finale night, he cast his vote for Tamar to win Celebrity Big Brother 2.

Tom checks in at No. 7 for his strategic sense, his ability in competitions, and perseverance despite long odds. Tom was given a pretty raw deal, hence why he placed 6th. I would like to see what damage he could’ve done if he wasn’t ostracized like he was. If he had placed higher in the game, he easily places higher than 7 on our countdown.
